If you believe in Radha-Krishna, then never go to an astrologer. Astrologers, if they are good, but probably, most of them are not good, they can read something of your karma, what is under Durgas influence. Of course, astrology, or jyotish, is also a category of the Vedas and you can understand trough it the rules of action and reaction but there is no mention in the astrological charts of, what we call, causeless mercy. The holy name and the spiritual master do not come to you in the karma department. They come in the causeless mercy department.When I put my life in the hand of Krishna, then I am depending on him. How can the astrologer calculate the causeless mercy? How can he calculate the effect of clapping in my hands in the kirtan. The karma is changing with the clap, but he can not calculate this. So in this way the astrology can not reach in this area.

One time it happened, that a devotee astrologer made my birth chart. I did not even know that he is going to do this. I was already a sannyasi at that time. Then this devotee came to me and said: Oh, do you want to know what your chart is saying. I did not care about, but somehow it came, that I told him to tell. So he said: "You are in a loosing period now. You are about to loose something very valuable." When I have heard this I got little worried. What I am going to lose? But quite after some time I thought: Am I stupid? Why do I worry? I took sannyas, and this means that I have lost already everything and this voluntarily. How can I loose something, when everything belongs anyway to Krishna! In this way I realized about astrology by personal experience.

But it is actually like this, that when you are surrendered to Radharani and to pure devotees, then you are protected by them and you don't have to go to Durga and calculate her influence. That is an offence to Radharani. So don't do that. You are at her feet and she will do what she wants and the guru will tell. He will see by her inspiration and he will tell you what is to be done and what is not to be done. Not some guy earning his money by telling you about the stars.
