Gour Mandal in the most important ecological project in the northern zone of Chile. The project is called the "Ecotrulys de Goura Mandal". Gour Mandal is situated 30 kilometres from Arica, by the road towards the mountains on the way to Bolivia.

His Holiness B.V. Narajan Maharaj, who is a disciple of Srila Guru Maharaj, directs this interesting project. A lot of people come to visit this beautiful place in the weekends; tourists as well as the local people. The devotees receive the visitors with a lot of affection and take them for a tour at the farm. The people get very content and admire the type of conic constructions. Recently Gour Mandal has been object of interest on television and in the most important national and international newspapers.

B. V. Narajan Maharaj is now organizing a marathon called "rumbo al mela2005" ("destination mela 2005"), to prepare in advance the arrival of the expected participants from several countries in Latin America, Europe, India and United States.
