10 kms to the final goal
A touching scene on our way to Radhakunda, on Govardhans appearance day.

It was on our way to Radhakunda, on Govardhan puja, when suddenly Guru Maharaja saw from a distance a small turtle crossing the Road, the driver stopped the car and took the turtle to Guru Maharaja. We continued our journey, Guru Maharaja joyfully with the turtle in his hand, who was hiding in its body. Now the turtle was coming out of its body and was obviously not very happy with the situation and tried to bite Guru Maharaja, who was chanting the Maha Mantra to the turtle and was saying: If you would know where I am taking you, you would not be upset with me.

It was a touching scene, as it reminded us of ourself being picked up by Guru Maharaja and also not really knowing what will expect us we are also, from time to time, biting our Guru Maharaja with our ignorance.

But Guru Maharaja did not mind the bitings of the turtle, rather full of love he was happy chanting the holy name, knowing that soon the turtle would become happy in the holy waters of Sri Radhakunda. Soon we arrived at the holiest of all holy places and Guru Maharaja carefully placed the turtle to its final destination.

Srila Guru Maharaja ki jay!
